After 34 years of living in the US, particularly Miami and the Beaches I have finally returned back to my home and I couldn’t be happier. Panama has definetly a better quality of life to offer to us who have family and homes here. Panama also has many things to offer to foreigners who wish to make panama their new home. Aside from Panama being a bit hot, somewhat noisy and quite slow in getting things done, it is a place that has a great culture. People are very friendly, cost of living is much cheaper (yes somethings are more expensive than the US) but in general the cost of living is much lower. But most importantly the quality of life is much greater. Where in the US can you afford to have a beach house on the water as your second home that you can go to every weekend with your familty and a bunch of guests? And not cost you an arm and a leg. Where in the US can you visit other friends on a regular basis to their weekend homes in so many different locations, whether it be in the precious Island of Contadora, the quaint fishing village of Taboga, the plush Punta Barco, playing golf in Coronado, hiking the mountains of El Valle, horseback riding in Cerro Punta, or diving the San Blas Islands?

Panama has so much to offer for such a small isthmus. With two Oceans, and over 365 island on each side of the Isthmus Panama is full of great things to see and do. On a recent trip, I took a friend of mine from having breakfast in El Valle, then to having lobsters for lunch at a friends house in Coronado, then we went to the city, hopped on another friends speedboat and went for sunset drinks in Taboga. All of this and without much rush, just plain fun without so much coordination.

Now with Panama's real estate market booming, panama has a lot of opportunities to offer for the existing businessmen and foreigners wishing to invest in Panama.
